I usually set my DSLR to the TV setting (perfect for keeping action shots from blurring). I then set it between 800-1200. Try it at 800 first and go up from there because the higher you go the more grain your photos will have. A fun experiment to try is dropping an item into a clear bowl of water and playing with the different camera speeds to see the differences. I also used my Canon 430EX II flash and that helps for indoor motion photos since the TV setting can make photos too dark. Also, be sure that you check your ISO settings since you may have to manually change your ISO to a higher number when taking indoor photos (higher numbers also mean more noise). For the pool shots, I could not get my ISO setting high enough so I used my Speedlite flash I mentioned above. Hope this helps and please ket me know if you have any more questions.

Hugs,
Jonni
:)JMCShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02576400274308974089noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15842298.post-73516831765112363492009-01-16T22:02:00.000-08:002009-01-16T22:02:00.000-08:00Love the pic of the "fairy princess" next to Missy...Love the pic of the "fairy princess" next to Missy....that's a sweet one!jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17698851513577718541noreply@blogger.com
